Make this cute duck all ready to play in the rain! Basic knowledge of how to crochet and reading patterns are required, however the pattern is beginner friendly.
Crochet stitches include:
- MC: magic circle
- SC: single crochet
- INC: increase (2 stitches in 1 stitch)
- DEC: decrease (1 stitch over 2 stitches)
- CH: chain
- SS: slip stitch
- HDC: half double crochet
- DC: double crochet
- FO: fasten off
- BLO: back loop only
- FLO: front loop only
Items Required:
- Yarn and a Crochet Hook: you can use any yarn or hook, choose appropriate for your tension. I’ve used Premier Parfait Chunky with a 5 mm hook or Bernat Blanket with an 8 mm hook.
- Smaller size yarn and hook for umbrella. For example, I used a 4-weight acrylic yarn with my Parfait Chunky duck, with a 4 mm hook
- Yarn Needle for sewing
- Safety Eyes or Felt Eyes (I used 16 mm eyes for Parfait Chunky)
- Stuffing
- Scissors
- Pipe Cleaner for Umbrella
